About Us

Roadrunner High Performance Tennis offers juniors players of all levels and ages an opportunity to train with the best coaches and players in the country. Our academy prides itself on its ability to provide small group instruction, technical expertise, and collegiate style drilling. Our reputation is based on our ability to satisfy the personal needs of each player.
The goal of the academy is to teach players with regard to technique, footwork, point construction, mental toughness and fitness in both singles and doubles play. As college coaches, we realize what the junior players need to improve upon once they get to the highest levels of college tennis. We put a strong emphasis on the ability to play from the service line forward and finishing points. Attention to detail is what enables players to improve and that is what is brought to the forefront of this academy.  Our training sessions mirror our varsity practices from conditioning to live and dead ball drills to shot discipline. Players will participate in dead ball drills focusing on baseline footwork and transition play with an emphasis on how to get into the net and put points away. In addition, there will be many live ball drills focusing on consistency, point play, and point construction with both an offensive and defensive mindset depending on the development of each individual point.
The academy also features video analysis, fitness testing, strength and agility sessions, and nutritional advice from our team nutritionist. We will also be able to offer guidance with the college recruiting process. Private lessons are also available by the staff members permitted to do so as per NCAA rules.  The program is run by the UTSA coaching staff as well as present and former ATP and WTA tour players.

Roadrunner High Performance Tennis is open to all participants, limited only by age, grade, level, number, and or gender.
